Custom XLT Disc Golf T-shirts

I am so excited about these Custom XLT Disc Golf T-shirts I recently made for my husband. He is 6’4″ so finding t-shirts that are long enough can prove to be an issue more often than you would imagine. For most people, if you want a new graphic tee all you need to do is run to Target. For us, it usually requires an online purchase for twice the price of a normal-sized shirt, plus you have to deal with shipping fees and never knowing if the shirt is going to be true to size.

I have spent the last year or so getting more adventurous with my Cricut. I started with signs using permanent vinyl and now have made my way into the world of HTV. This has been a game-changer for my husband’s wardrobe. I also found these Hanes Men’s Short Sleeve Beefy-T (Pack of 2) on Amazon. They have so many colors to choose from and an amazing selection of sizes.

For the first shirts, I decided to go with my husband’s 2 favorite things – Disc golf and Starwars! Since I am new to the land of HTV I kept them simple and did not do any layering. Maybe I will tackle layers next time?! For the HTV, I used this one from Amazon.

This one was my favorite Custom XLT Disc Golf T-shirts because not only does it combine two of his favorite things, it was also super simple to weed!

The second Custom XLT Disc Golf T-shirt I made was a bit trickier! There was much more weeding involved in this project. This one was funny because I actually started by weeding the background reverse to the original intended appearance. I think this is an issue all Cricut users encounter at one point or another. Luckily I was able to save the project by adding the black circle around the outside of the project. I think that 99% of people viewing it would assume that was my intended print. Overall I am very pleased with how it came out and so was he!
